Steelton CKC Pharmacy and Gift Shop owners Kris and Peg Conforti, in conjunction with Chuck and Sara Kray, have been residents of central Pennsylvania for over 25 years. They have been serving the pharmacy and gift-giving needs of the community for over 14 years.  After graduating from Scranton Central High School, Kris earned his degree in Pharmacy from Philadelphia School of Pharmacy and Sciences, known now as University of Sciences, in 1985.  He came to work at the Milton S Hershey Medical Center, continued his education to include a Masters of Business through Penn State University, and then transitions from the hospital to community pharmacy in 1992. Peg is a graduate of Lower Dauphin High School. Her career includes extensive experience in both the hospital, including Milton S Hershey Medical Center, and retail pharmacy settings and being acknowledged as a Certified Pharmacy Technician. Eventually, she became Kris’ wife and business partner.

The Steelton CKC Pharmacy and Gift Shop is also manned by Kris and Peg’s son, William (Bill) Gallagher. Bill has been the store manager since it opened in November of 2001. Bill graduated with a Bachelor in Business Administration from Wilkes University in 2000, which is put to use not only as the Steelton store manager, but as the Steelton, Middletown, and Palmyra stores’ Operations Manager. Although he spends much of his time making sure the businesses run smoothly, his time is also dedicated to his wonderful wife Stephanie and their amazing daughter Molly.
